ATTENDANCE

All staff is expected to be here daily and on time.  With staff having either a 13 day or 26 day contract, there aren't any vacation days, sick days or emergency days for summer school use. 

 

All absences, with the exception of *jury duty, are a pay dock, or can cancel summer school contracts.

 

In the event of a personal emergency or a request for jury duty, the following must occur:

  • The SUBSTITUTE TEACHER FORM must be completed to the Summer School Principal, Mr. Medina.

  • Give a copy of the completed sub sheet to the summer school secretary.

  •  

In the event of an illness or unexpected absence, the following must occur:

  • Please notify the summer school secretary by 6:30 a.m. at 847-755-1671, so sub coverage can be arranged for that day.

 

ATTIRE

All staff is expected to dress professionally; business-casual attire is acceptable.

 

DRIVERS ED TEACHERS

Please submit a copy of your driving schedules to the summer school office after the orientation meeting.

 

EVALUATIONS

All out of district teachers will have formal evaluation(s) by an assistant principal or district lead member.
