3  Week Classes Only – Final Exam Procedures

• Final exams will be given on Wednesday, June 20 for 1st semester

• Teachers should review the following policies for final exams with their classes two days before the assigned date:

• Attendance -               

            1. Attendance is MANDATORY on final exam dates.  Students who are not in attendance will forfeit credit and fees, and will fail by                             default. 

            2. Final examinations will not be given early neither will students be allowed early release from school.

            3. All books must be returned before taking the final exam. 

            4.*If book is unreturned, complete “Request to Recover” form and inform the summer school office during check-out.

• Incompletes

            1. There are no incompletes for summer school. 

            2.  All grades must be complete and submitted by the teacher the last day of each semester.

• Audit Status

             1. A student may petition to audit (no credit) a course prior to final exam day. 

             2.The teacher must submit a completed Audit Form to the Summer School Office during check out. 

             3. Auditing students will NOT be given the final examination. 

             4. The teacher will submit an AUD in the semester grade column.

 

     3 Week Classes Only – Grade Window Open through - Wednesday, June 21

• The window to input 3 week final grades is open

• Teachers should review the Procedures for Grades if there are any questions, or contact the summer school office.

 

     3 Week Classes Only – *REQUIRED 1st SEMESTER CHECK OUT

• ALL 1st semester teachers are required to check out first semester academic materials, even if you are returning 2nd semester.

• Please download the Check-Out Sheet which is also found under the “Forms & Links” tab.

• All signatures are required on the check-out form

 

     6 Week Classes Only –"In-Progress Comments" Due Today 

• In-progress comments are due for 6 week classes soon, please be aware of the following details as you prepare to post comments.

• In-progress grades will be automatically pulled from your gradebook in Infinite Campus at Day 6 of each semester of summer school.  

• All gradebooks are expected to be up to date.  If assignments for future grading tasks are included in your gradebook, these assignments should not calculate into the 3 week in-progress grade.

• Any assignments entered into the gradebook Day 6 of each semester will be viewable in the portal, but will not be reflected on the 3 week in-progress grade report

• Teachers will be able to post comments until 1PM on Day 13 of each semester.

• The following instructions pertain to “In-Progress Comments” can be found under the “Procedures” tab of the website.  Highlighted points include: 

            1. Be mindful to make at least one comment per student.

            2. Parent phone calls are required for students who may be failing

            3. Remember Audit Status is also an option for failing students

 

    Assessments Today

• Some classes may be giving assessments today. 

• Please check the Assessment Administration Sheet if you need clarification on your course date and procedures.

 

    Library Materials - *Due Today

• Reminder:  Library materials for the 1st semester session are due today!

• Please return all materials or renew if you are returning for 2nd semester.
